Kids Absolutely Not Reading. I Think It's Because They're So Screen-oriented [tvs, Computers, Smartphones]. They Do Read - Girls In Particular Read A Lot. They Have A Tendency To Go Toward The Paranormal, Romances, Twilight And Stuff Like That. And Then It Starts To Taper Off Because Other Things Take Precedence, Like The Kardashian Sisters.

There Are Lots Of Would-be Censors Out There, And Although They May Have Different Agendas, They All Want Basically The Same Thing: For You To See The World They See...or To At Least Shut Up About What You Do See That's Different. They Are Agents Of The Status Quo. Not Necessarily Bad Guys, But Dangerous Guys If You Happen To Believe In Intellectual Freedom.

I Think Uncertainty Is Good For Things. Certainty Breeds Complacency And Complacency Means That You Just Sit Somewhere In Your Nice Little Comfortable Suburban House In Michigan, Looking At Cnn And Saying, "oh, Those Poor Immigrant Children That Are All Coming Across The Border. But We Really Can't Have Them Here - That Isn't What God Wants. Let's Send Them All Back To The Drug Cartels." There's A Complacency To It.
