They Stick You With Those Names, Those Labels -- ‘rebel’ Or Whatever; Whatever They Like To Use. Because They Need A Label; They Need A Name. They Need Something To Put The Price Tag On The Back Of.

If There's Any Message To My Work, It Is Ultimately That It's Ok To Be Different, That It's Good To Be Different, That We Should Question Ourselves Before We Pass Judgment On Someone Who Looks Different, Behaves Different, Talks Different, Is A Different Color.

I Think When You Are Young, You Are Hoping That This Person Will Be The Right One. The One You Are Going To Be In Love With Forever, But Sometimes You Want That So Much, You Create Something That Isn't Really There.

Not Being Well-versed In That Arena Myself, It's A Little Bit Frightening Because I'm Not Very Good In Those Situations With Lots Of People And Lots Of Famous People And Cameras And All Of That. It's Not My Specialty.
